The link to the pdf. pattern is on this page.
It's beautiful-- just a scrappy Irish Chain, really. I think it's what they call a double Irish chain... I love it!
I have my 15 cotton sets all cut (as of today-- whew!) and only need to cut my batik twist sets. Lots of cutting, but worth it!

It's a Double Irish Chain, so you could probably find a pattern for it that uses 2 1/2 inch squares. Then, if you want to use the same quilting pattern that was in the magazine, you just copy it on a copy machine and enlarge it until it fits the square you're going to put it in.
Good luck! It's always been one of my favorite patterns.

Yeowch. That's a lot of work. I would make it with your 2 1/2 inch squares. You'll just have to adjust the measurement of the white parts in the middle, is all. The great part about getting all these squares is that they''re already cut and that's the part that takes the longest!

Hi - New swapped here. Just wondering if "Flag Day" has anything to do with the colors our charms have to be? For example do the charms in this swap need to be patriotic and/or shades of red-white-blue?

Your charms can be any cotton. I just picked Flag Day as my date to return to you.
