kwiltkrazy sent this wonderful quilt last week. I received it on a day after a tiring day as full time farmer milking cows with DH while our partners were on a trip. I was so touched by the following sentiment she included

"It's titled GLADIE'S HOME", because you are such a wonderful person, and your home is always open to all your kids and grands. The outside border is suppose to represent a house, the two pillars are the bottom of the quilt, and the top has a chimney going up, the middle of the quilt is the heart of the house (hearts and gizzards) and they represent all of your family and the wonderful sanctuary you provide for them"

June has been a hectic month and really shouldn't have taken time for the swap--but I am so glad I did because I have developed a wonderful new friendship with kwiltkrazy. She has been so patient waiting for my quilt for her--am working on it tonight and hope to have it in the mail Wednesday. Will post it as soon as she gets it

The perfect spot for my new quilt

Thanks for posting it for me. It looks like it has a place of honor. I so enjoyed making this quilt for you, and getting to know you was just frosting on the cake. I am so hooked now!
