Sis wish I could have seen your tree. bet it was pretty. Lynnie I will try to get more scraps out to you this week. Your quilt is turning out beautiful. I've seen the round and also the square shaped book marks. Sue in England who is a member on here sent it to me as a heart shape. It takes about 4-5 minutes to make one. It's just double layers of fabric with no linings. They work well on quilt books too.I will try to make a tiny tute to show how I made it,if enough want to know. Have a good night

I'd love to be thinking of Christmas and just skip right over summer. I saw 89 for next week. Today it was 80 and a little humid. Tomorrow will be worse. Lynnie your quilt was very nice. I'll be sending you some bright scraps as soon as I get them together. Cute strawberry pincushion and holder. Today I saw a baby opossum. It was in the middle of the road and a little bigger than a chipmunk. It was really cute as I don't like them at all. I went back the same way but it was gone. I thought for sure someone would have ran it over.

love little opposums. we had one my son kinda raised. we cme home and saw a big momma in the street dead. this little guy, a ball of fluff, comes out of the tall grass. my son started hand feeding him along with all the ferel kitties. he'd knock on the door as he got older for food. last time we saw him was right b4 we moved into our condo. he was about 3/4 sized of an adult. to me he was cute. He ate everything, and loved pasta, hated broccoli.

any good ideas here for christmas gifts???

I had never seen one so small. I just went out and bought a new squirrel trap today. I think when I dropped the other one it was hard to spring the trap so I hope by tomorrow I'll have one in it. I put cheese, peanut butter and bird seed on it. How about the folded fabric balls?

LOVE those mittens and the quilted ball. bUt... My favorite one is the dark grey mitten.
just love it. so Christmassy. i need to start thinking about it. We decorate in aqua and
white. My husband is Jewish so we have a white tree with aqua and white and silver ornaments. it's stunning.

On to another topic, anyone get a pincushion today or a needlecase??? pat, thanks for the pictures.

I think i need to go to the thrift store to look for some wool so i can shrink it for ornaments.

The dark green one is my favorite too. I need to go to a thrift store soon. I don't think I've seen any wool here. Florida is not the best place to wear wool.
