Karen, great idea i only need a piece about 2" x 5" or a 5" sq. I'd love a pc from everyone here. A friendship quilt!
I'm doing 3 3/4" hexes. one hex on top of two. (calling it Prism Gems). using all types of 100% cottons. prints, solids and plaids. everything in between. It's all a mish- mosh of what i can find.
How is everyone today. Beautiful day, May go to the movies with my son, or the bamboo forest. Prefer the movies. to get to the bamboo forest, we have to walk thru the beautiful rhododendrons. they have pollen, but soo pretty. some are about 10 feet long, all blooms. wish i could do pictures. You'd all love them. Maybe lunch too, (if I can afford it. he has expensive taste).

Hi everyone. It's a nice breezy day today, and partly cloudy. Not as hot today, which I like. I don't like freezing weather or hot. I am like Goldilocks. I like it just right. lol...

It is 76 now but the dewpoint is in the low 70's. Just what I don't like. I'm debating whether or not to put the ac on as we are supposed to get thundershowers tonight. I just can't stand the humidity.

Lynnie I'll send you some scraps as soon as I can get an envelope. I just threw away 4 garbage bags of fabric. Still have plenty left.

I just went upstairs and the first floor was 76. So I did put the AC on. It's not that hot here in the winter. I hate summer.

76, whew. it's 76 outside and it's shady now. it's about 72 in the house, but i opened windows. Larry complained last night that it's getting warm at night. i told him to take off his sweat pants and socks and if he's still hot, go stand on the tile floor. I hate spending money on electricity when i don't have to. remember, every penny saved is more for fabric. can't wait to get my partner. i have to make pins for my partner yet.

I got my name today. This is someone I haven't had and enjoyed reading her interests. She has a lot of the same interests as I do so I will have no problem. I'm excited!
