I am wondering what summer means to all of you. When I think of summer, I first think of flip flops (cuz I don't like shoes). I also think of sunshine, flowers and sitting beside the lake.

I think about complaining about the heat and humidity that I don't like here. Before I moved here my DS said that the winters were not as bad but I don't think he mentioned the HOT summers. I thought I could do without the AC today until 4 and then had to put it on. I just went outside and my purple iris's are all gone and only a few white ones left. They didn't last that long.

Yep, flip flops. Also picnics, fresh fruits and veggies (gardens), grilling out, lemonade, sunshine, and bugs (butterflies, bumble bees and mosquitoes).

Speaking about bugs, this is the season for the Canadian Soldiers up along Lake Erie. These are on a building but some places use a bulldozer to get them off the streets. I don't have any here.

They always make the news on tv. It's a good thing they don't last too long. I've only been up there once when they had them. They are all over everything. Imagine trying to sell cars with them on the cars.
