seersucker would work for me...also do LOVE vintage fabric...but please keep your polyester! LOL

Years ago a neighbor of mine made me a tablecloth of polyester...she crocheted around the edges...I have used it many times and I love it...it is easy to wash and just put it right back on the table...just an idea if anyone can invision it.

Love the fabrics coming in...I am sorry your swap partners haven't told you they like the fabrics, MsCupid. Maybe they are on vacation. I know Annaquilts is...

Both of my set of FQs arrived yesterday, and they are beautiful. Thanks swap partners!
This first set is from girliegirl, all full of pretty stars

The next set is from ArizonaKAT, more stars and also blue firewors, a red bandanna like print and a wow flower.

I really like them all, and I think they all will like each other.

I also like seersucker for quilt blocks. So if anyone gets my name next time. I am going to think about the polyester table runner. I have a piece of fabric that I really don't know what to do with.

Bdawn received my fabrics! The donkey was moving faster than I thought!

I like seersucker too but its a fairly thin/sheer fabric. so maybe its the wear and tear of a quilts use that makes them not perfect for a quilt? I also believe there was a time period where it was not all cotton but a blend as were most of the fabrics in the 60's and 70's. The new wonder fabric poly came out so blends blends blends. Just my two bits. I would not probably use it in my quilts as I like uniformity a bit

Showing off my Fqs from Nancyw. They are heading back out to join the Friendship Boom 10. I'm making holiday lap quilts to decorate my livingroom. These guys will be going all around the country and back to me again!

Perfect fabric for my plan.

Hi all,
Thanks for the feedback! I had to laugh at the polyester comment!! I have some of that, too...haven't been able to part with it yet, so may just try making a tablecloth from it and see how it goes!
Happy Father's Day to all the guys out there, to all of our wonderful hubbys / significant others who happen to be dads, and dad's of the 4 legged kids, too!

Only trouble is. . . I can't hold it and touch it and caress it. . .
Oh well, something to come home to.
By the way. . . headed for Goshen, IN. Anyone in that neighborhood???
