I don't know how the rest of you are able to do this in a regular basis. I really had to work through my stash to get enough fabrics.

Also, 20 of my fabrics are from a jelly roll. Scrumptious by Bonnie and Camille. It has several patterns that are the same, but in different colorways. This still counts as unique/ different - correct?
Woohoo! We're happy to have you join!

Yes different colorways count as different. I've used jelly rolls before and might again!

Hey everybody, I want to throw an idea out about the twist, or batik, part of the swap, for the FUTURE (not this time).

Right now, we can swap 5 sets of 20 fabrics (5 x 20 = 100) like the photo on the left. We have to buy 20 different batiks, and cut only five small squares of each to swap.

I would like see it change to 10 sets of 10 fabrics (10 x 10 = 100) like the photo on the right. We only need to buy 10 different fabrics, and we would cut 10 squares out of each to swap.

Either way, we get 100 different batik squares back (if we send the maximum amount). But if we swap 10 x 10, we only have to buy half as much fabric. I'm definitely in favor of this! The only concern is we would have to have at least 10 swappers, which we do this time. I'm also thinking more people might want to swap the batiks if they only have to have 10 of them. What do you all think?

I'm really sorry about the size of the pictures. When I added them, they were small and beside each other. Now they are obnoxiously large. I can't figure out how to fix them.

Oh I like your idea to wrap rope with your tiny strips. I usually cut my 2.5" squares and with what scraps are left I cut however many 1.5" squares I can get. With the left overs after the 1.5" squares I cut however many 1" squares I can get. I have a dream of using all three sizes in a quilt.....

I received candy packages from Karen G and PeginCO. Peg sent me such a pretty cup cozy. I love it! Karen added a little GrandIllusion starter kit from her Bonnie Hunter mystery quilt. I'm just in awe!!

We also have another candy swapper. Welcome Mariposa! That puts us at 30 if everyone decides to stay in. So exciting. And we have plenty of time for more to join! I appreciate those of you who are donating to my MarchMadness gift. It will be fun to see the crazy collection we end up with.

I just ordered some yesterday and they're free. Then I got my mail. I found two candy packages and was REALLY glad I ordered them. See.
