okay everyone--wait till you see the beautiful owls that arrived here over the weekend...

my swap partner havplenty made me this amazing!!! owl--how beautiful!!!! the fabric is gorgeous! and as if that weren't enough i got a lovely mug rug and some buttons too!!! thank you so much havplenty--i had been wanting to make something like this for a while and i just love it! i don't know how you were able to part with it, but i am so glad you did!

and then i got a bonus felt owl from dotty in the mail too! i am so excited to sew it together and maybe a few more too!
thanks you so much dotty! i told you this privately, but will say it here too--you must have been one amazing art teacher!!!

0old myself I have enough pincushions. I live in an apartment. I just don't need more. Then I walked past my hardware store. Saw the cutest display of little bright colored plastic flowers pots...guess what I'm making??

When Crafty Linda B stated her pincushion was going to Illinois, I hoped it was being sent to me. And guess what------IT WAS!! I received the cutest chocoholic basket pincushion. I also received York Peppermint Patties. One of my favorites. This was a nice surprise to receive today. I will be using the pincushion today and one of the patties is already gone. Imagine that. Thanks again Linda. I love it!!
