I have considered doing an epp for the wall hanging swap, maybe for the winter swap, but these are the beginnings of my La Pass quilt. And the main reason I haven't gotten very far on my swap WH.

JNCT there are 5 shapes, a large and a small pentagon, a fat diamond, a skinny diamond, and an osalese (sp) triangle for the star points.

Here is a pretty baby quilt for my nephew's little girl. Easy pattern.

What a great baby quilt, bright and cheerful. Did you pillowcase this one or is it a knife edge finish? The circle quilting pattern reflects the spinning action. Really nice.

I haven't even started on my wallhanging yet, been helping a friend clean and move the past few weeks. Typical man, he knew he was moving but never packed a thing until I mentioned that there was plenty of stuff that wasn't being used and could be packed. I swear that everytime I go to his place I clean, dog hair and construction dirt doesn't seem to bother him, but drives me nuts. He was living in one house for about 2 years all the while renovating it, and now he's at the point that he needed to move his furniture out in order to start other projects. He had another house that he purchased for himself and will be renting out the house he is moving out of. Luckilly the houses are only about a block away from each other. Anyway, to get back to the wallhanging, I plan on starting mine in about 2 weeks. Have other swaps that need to be completed before the end of this month so they had to take priority, but I saw something in a quilt book that I am thinking of doing for this swap. When I get my fabrics chosen I will post pics, something I hadn't done in the previous swaps. Looks like a lot of people signed up for the swap and can't wait to see what everyone comes up with.

Hi Jeanne49, Feels so good to be helpful, doesn't it, even if some of it is a bother (dog hair and dirt) I do hope every one that signed up is able to follow through with the WH. It would be so cool to have such a big showing. I am about half way complete on the embroidery I am working on and will post a progress picture tomorrow.

Kassaundra: will the rooster switch to a cotton wardrobe for summer? I can't help but think he can get sun burned in the OK summer sun.
