Well Granky it is a combination of things. I had to go on oxygen and it limits my movements. My health is not as good as it could be. Mostly I'm a super duper procrastinator LOL I think about doing things but it never gets done. I have done a few small things but not much of any importance. I made 8 masks for a friend and have 6 masks here at home. I've struggled with increasing difficulty in breathing over the last couple of years and it pretty much hampered my thinking and ability to do stuff. I got on Oxygen last Dec and that has helped but at the same time it is annoying and creates it's own difficulties. I have 4 FB groups I cocreated with a friend and I am pretty busy with that daily. I also have 4 quilty groups too. I still look at quilting articles and check out QB from time to time lately. Just not as active as I once was. Getting old don't ya know? LOL My youngest son turned 42 in April. I asked him Sunday how does it feel to be in your 40's now? He said ! LOL I told him I was a new grandma when I was 42 He has twins sons who are 16 and his youngest is 9.

Rhonda...I feel your pain. I have been on oxygen for about three years now, and I do know how it can cut down your activities...but I am lucky, I live with my daughter and don't have to do the housework, and that really helps! Getting old sure isn't fun, and it sure isn't for sissies! It's terrible when you look at your children and realize that at least one of them is a Great Grandmother! How time does fly!

So glad everyone is okay here. Love the wall hangings and ideas you all are coming up with.Sorry to hear about your troubles Rhonda; hope you are feeling better. But you all are right, getting old is not picnic.

I had the scare of my life. Woke up one morning last month with my heart pounding, couldn't breathe or move. Thought I had the virus. Hubby took me to emergency. My heart got out of beat and decided I was running a marathon. Doctor said I had an AFIB attack and my heart was beating 155 bpm. They had to shock my heart back into a regular rate. Took all of 2 hours in Emergency. Spent rest of the time until today taking stress tests to make sure everything is okay. Was the only patient in doctor offices and testing facilities as they were only allowing one doctor in office at a time with limited nurses and only one patient. Anyway,I am fine, just ad to change some of my meds. Doc's orders to stay home until this is completely over.

So glad I got my wall hanging done early. Can;t wait to see what everyone else is making.

Ladies....so many difficulties....but I so admire your positive attitudes and continued activity in doing the things that bring you joy despite the obstacles. My heroes!

Rumbols...that was so scary, sweetie! I'm so glad you are home now and doing better....a month ago was during the height of virus scare so looks like no exposure since no symptoms. Thank goodness you are ok!

Welcome Nancy!!! So glad you are joining us...

I just have have to finish quilting one section of my current project then I can get to my Wallhanging. I need a break before I do the borders on the quilt.

i have a confession to make....I started a 2nd Wallhanging and the colors are brown's and tans...Super cute but....You guys know me well enough by now to know that I prefer brights...well, this Wallhanging started depressing me....Lol... I had to stop... Seriously... So, I am starting a 3rd Wallhanging in hopes it cheers me up as well as the recipient. Lesson learned . I'll finish the brown/tan WH after...lol

That is quite a scare Rumbols. Hope everything goes well for you.

Sounds like you need some Kaffe Fassett fabric, Teen!

Just checking in to say hello. To all of those with health problems, I can sympathize. I have COPD with breathing problems. I'm not on oxygen yet but assume I will be in the future.

I have about 4 more blocks to finish for the Boom swap then I will be starting on my wall hanging. I have something in mind. I sure hope it turns out the way I imagine it to be. All I can say is that it has bugs.

Ooo...Nancy....that's gonna be cool! That green is so pretty, too!

I am quilting my Wallhanging and should have it finished this weekend. I'm thinking of a scalloped border. I think it would be perfect for this project.
