ILOVE all of the mug rugs posted...I want them all!! Does that make me a bad person for saying that?? I think it's a compliment when someone wants what I make! Brat you are doing a wonderful JOB with the swaps here! I can't believe it's easy to keep it all so organized!
On another note I received a beautiful mug rug from jan Rutherford! Paper pieced flower , ribbon and fat quarters and tea! I will post pictures when I get to my sewing room computer! Thanks Jan! We have met some true.y beautiful friends on this board and in these swaps!

For Miss Linda ~ hopefully a better close up picture of the mug rug, and some pictures of sand fabric and sea grass. I haven't used the sea grass fabric and I'm not sure if I ever will, it might end up being one of those "what was I thinking fabrics"!

Cheesehead,
That turtle in the ocean is AWESOME, just like you are!!

Brat,
I wrote a message over on the fq swap to you, so I won't bore everyone here by repeating it..
I'm happy to see you moving forward, and I'm happy to know that should I choose to send you, or anyone a lil special something, it will be accepted in the spirit for which it was sent.. happily and because we wanted to..same way I love the lil surprises I'm sent.
I'm also happy you're not allowing one negative person to dictate how you live, and how we feel about you.
I wish I'd known you were looking for sand type fabrics. I did manage to squeeze some ocean wave fabric in your box. I guess you better make your project at high tide...no sand needed

Love you!
Kif

There is a quilt shop in Pensacola that has the best selection of fabric I have ever seen. Name of the shop is A&E, it's a fabric/craft store, pharmacy and appliance store all under one roof. Recently the appliance part has been taken over with tons and tons of Mardi Gras beads, and decorations.

The sea grass fabric is 3745 Sand Dunes Makower UK England. The lightest shade of sand is Timeless Treasures Patt #GM-C 2184. The pebbly looking sand is also Timeless Treasures and is Patt #GM-C 1334. All of these fabrics had been on sale last year and were from around 2010-2012. At the time I bought this fabric, I also bought several water fabrics, I'm just waiting to have something come to mind to use them in.

The cool thing about this quilt store is their monthly sales. One month it can be 30-40% off any fabric that has a particular color in the fabric, last month it was pink or red. Another month the sale can be on fabrics from (for instance) 2010-2013.
