Well I don't have swap pics to post yet, but I thought some of you other kitty lovers might appreciate this. Got Elphie a new carrier in preparation for her cross country move in April. The theory being that she would light a soft sided carrier better...what do you think, does she?

Believe it or not...I don't know. I will find out on March 20 when I match my medical residency program. Maine, Colorado, Montana, Washington, Idaho, Vermont, and North Carolina are all options, but I won't know until I open that little envelope

Well she looks like she loves her carrier. My cat loved his, it was his time out at first. then he loved it to settle in. My Zoey won't go near it.
Let us know where you'll be moving to, quite a lot of options there for you. Sounds exciting. Have fun.

Hikeaddict -- I think Elphie likes her new carrier! And sounds like you're in for a tough schedule once you find out where you're going. Good luck!

That kitty is so cute..looks like, "I'm trying to catch a nap here, so bug off..". Which I guess means she likes it..

My Buttons hated her carrier...because she knew it meant visiting the vet...Sometimes dh or I would carry her while the other 1 drove, just to avoid the trauma for her. She's been gone over 5 yrs..I sure miss her...

Lynnie,
NO the post office will not refund your money. Matter of fact, if they lose a pkg, you get a form letter that basically say, " Oops, sorry. We are working on finding where your pkg is.".
And months later, said pkg is still mia..

These days I'm just happy IF the pkg reaches the right destination. Quilty-Louise and I swapped pkgs..it took 3 weeks for her to get mine. Luckily she's a sweetie, and knew I had sent it.

Regards all,
Kif

Where do you send the mini quilts Lynnie... I do some locally and am going to do some animal ones as soon as I catch up on what I have around here... Just starting to feel more like myself...

Rosemary, I just sent them off to ANNAQUILTS. it's under requests. Some places are so fussy over what you send. it must be machine quilted this way or that. she's happy to get anything and the hospital uses all. they decorate the NICu incubators with the quilts. sometimes this is all they have of the baby to touch and sometimes these poor little guys don't make it. the parents have them as keepsakes. it's touched my heart, so i'm doing that for now. thanks for asking.
