Moonrise, Juanita Bean, I love your little doll quilt. The cathedral edge is just awesome!

goldsberry, ldugas, I love the blend of fabrics you used in your little crazy quilt. Very pretty.

Krystyna, super cute pineapple (?) mini quilt. I love all the brights and white. Sweet Label.

Sewbeadit, TamMoo, I love all the random bright colors you used. Pretty Stitching also!

opening the envelope was sit and admire them, then I did a light pressing
(already had the iron on), then up on the wall they went.

I recieved the most beautiful doll quilt today from Needlegrammy, Barbara Moffo. I am going to try later to get a picture on here, having technical problems right now. Absolutely gorgeous, beautifully stitched with decorative stitches and beautiful fabrics. Some velvet, silks and cottons and a red border. Hubby wants me to hang it somwhere we can all see it and not hide it away in my sewing room. She has been a wonderful partner.

Well here it is the 19th of May and I am still working on my DQ. But the end is in site. Almost finished with the quilting and then I will do the binding. YEAH. So my partner can start looking for it sometime next week. Everyone I show it too says I should keep it and I really do like it. I will just have to make me one. But this one is made special for my partner. This has been a great month of learning new techniques.

Have been enjoying looking at the DQ photos, don't get online as much as I'd like due to a fulltime job where I sit in front of a computer all day, so try not to kill my eyes by looking at one when home! I'll have my quilt ready to post out to Skaduzy come Monday. I really enjoyed making a crazy style quilt, has been a few years since I'd made one. Plus I got to try out many of the fancy stitches on my new machine! Hope to be able to join in another swap soon.
    Best, Ani
