Jilnjo!!! Awesome! What a fun little girl. Can't wait to see it all.
As for the photo of me and my avatar ... the avatar is an actual painting of me when I was sixteen working on a real quilt. The painting is based on a pastel drawing done by my mother. My late sister, who was an artist, decided to turn it into a painting. She was stricken with MS before she could finish it and years later I pulled it out and finished it myself. The quilt in the painting is one that was started by my grandmother, worked on a bit by my mother and finally finished by me. It was buried with my sister. Her disabled daughter now has the painting.
So, yes, I am "naturally" a dark haired woman. The photo is almost two years old and my hair (with a little help from my beautician) is now blonde and quite long.

Krystyna, again congratulations on your win. I loved the interview and now we know a little more about you and your picture is lovely too. You certainly look different blond and I never really thought the other picture was you. You are beautiful in both.
