That pincushion is beautiful and love that tissue holder. lovely pins, aren't they alot of fun to make. mix and match and have beautiful matching pins.
when is the steam train coming down the pike? Sounds like a great photo opportunity.
Klaws and Lynnie are sitting on the bench together> Maybe tomorrow is our day. Lets see.

Ooooh, Pat, that is pretty.
Karen, my Claire will be thrilled! She has poured over all sorts of ideas for you and finally settled on one. (Karen has offered to swap pin cushions with my 10yo DD who is loving my participation on this board! Claire will be an amazing seamstress/quilter! It is so dear to her heart and really draws us together!)
Night all! Sleep well!

Thanks. These pincushions are so addicting. Always on the look out for new patterns. Today I'm finally putting my sewing room back to normal. Well it will never be normal. Too much stuff. I'm on the bench too waiting for my pincushion. The steam engine comes for 3 weekends in Sept. I think it comes from Indiana. There are so many people that chase the trains. I've been doing it for 4 years now. If they don't get the track fixed it's going to be a short chase. This is my favorite steam engine

Pat I love that pic of the train. We live close to a train. It's kind of around the road, but I have heard its sound everyday for many years.
Peg I would at any time love to swap anything with your daughter. (pincushion or needle case, one of the upcoming chickens etc. )She can then start her a collection. I wanted soon to make your younger one a little hand made doll, but I haven't got those skills together yet. I have never made one, but always wanted to try and make a rag doll.

Pat, what a beautiful old train. it's picture worthy, and you've done a great job with the camera.
I'm on the bench with you and Mary. At least I'm in good company out by the mailbox. we can talk
about what kind of chicken we are all making. It reminds me of the funky chicken block swap from
a few years back. i had every type of chicken, rotten, boiled, soup, deviled, little, crossing the road.
hey maybe a can of chicken soup!
Everyone, have a good day. I'm going down to the clubhouse to sit by the pool and play Trivial Pursuit.

No pc for me today...still on the bench.
After looking at all kinds of pincushions on pinterest, I finally decided on what I am doing for next month. I drew up a pattern and made a sample. It turned out so cute! I think that whoever gets it will be pleased, at least I hope so. The only hint that I can give is that it covers both themes of yellow and summer.
