May Postcard Swap - Wacky Holidays
#41
No judgement, we all start somewhere!
With the plastic sleeve, as long as it is less than 1/4" thick, I can get a 70 cent stamp at the counter and ask them to hand cancel the card. They usually do it on the card, then I slip it in the envelope and seal it, then they stamp it on the outside with something too. This time, the leafy didn't stamp at all, but put it in the special processing pile. I hope it doesn't have issues getting to you!

MizMelly, i always bring my postcards into the post office. they put a stamp on and hand cancel the clear envelope. Make sure they do that, you don't want to be responsible for breaking a postage machine.

Oh maxie/armylady2012 your bird is terrific. Don't say anymore about not being ...as creative...or whatEVER nonsense you were spouting (tee hee) --- it is so chirpin' cute!
SleepyHollow, I am sort of indifferent to StarWars (as a fan), though it doesn't keep me from lovin' your card & that lil ol' creature!
