Whew, mine will be going out tomorrow at the very end of the deadline. Geez me, get the flu and everything goes to a stop. Who'd figure. At least I am not in it alone.

Observing has been educational, yup! And, I see that many of you like brilliant colors like I do, so yes, I am getting a better idea that I might could fall within the guidelines, if there is a next time... Can't wait to see the ones that haven't been posted/received yet!

QuilterMomma, sorry you are ill. Hope you get better soon. Is it warm up there yet? Our new outdoor heatpump themometer read 97 this afternoon. Yikes!

QuilterMomma hope you feel better soon. This air is not the best with the heat. I don't know if I have the modern down, not to mention this is my first ever mini quilt, but it helps me learn something new each time I finish a project. I hope my nice swap partner likes it.

Hey girl, I stayed up late last night, maybe shouldn't have, and finished eagleoneowl2u2 mini modern quilt. I got is on the longarm and quilted away. I am pleased 95%, the other is when I looked at this am and noticed just a tad bit of tension on one of the circles. Looks fine mind you, but I need to tweek when I change thread brands. I forget that at times. the back looks funky with the thread. I am finishing up binding and label today and off in mail it will go even if I have to drop it off at the main post office if I miss mail person this am. Sorry I am at the end of the deadline, but life kicked my butt. Now for some rest this weekend and moderatation. I still have one important quilt to get out in mail, wish I did not need any sleep then i would have had it finished. Thank you for swapping with me and letting me be part of the swap.

Hey QuilterMomma, I'm with ya on the last minute finish. Ok, technically, I still need to finish...just attatch the label. FYI, next time, remember that BEFORE quilting the layers together. doh! always something around here.
Still, it WILL get in the mail today.

sewbeadit-I received my quilt from you today and I love it....have to tell you that I have several pieces of my own artwork displayed in our home and they are all done with charcoal from many years ago so your quilt goes perfectly with them....plus you did a beautiful job. Thanks so much........I may get help later today posting pics, but if you want to go ahead and post.

Linny and Terry, glad you liked them. I enjoyed making these little guys. These are the last anything I made on my old machine. I bought a new machine and was afraid to use it on the minis because I didn't know how to use it yet and didn't want to mess up too bad.lol. The silver on the gray quilt is "I don't know what it is called" but has a shiny front and a cotton back, kinda like pleather but thinner. I don't know if that is any help.lol

Linny and abd both quilts are so pretty. Linny that design and color is stunning. abd I know you like bright colors, and that is pretty bright colors, and I like the tall shape used. Both are quilted nicely. SewBeadIt I did a lot of looking, and that is the nicest I have seen using the colors you used, and the circles, etc.
