love your pansy! Would you share your pattern? One of the girls in our row robin loves small flowers, and I would like to do one for her.
    Thanks, Mariah

hi, i always add my 'partners' as my 'buddies', then it's easier to contact them. if you do that, then click on their name, you can look at their list of topics. you can then look to see if they have posted pics of blocks that they have received from their previous partners. i hope this helps :)
    love jacquie xxxx

Oh, what a gorgeous pansy block.

Mbogenpohl I haven't forgotten you, my Mom has been here for a week, so things are going slow.

Jentica, your Feb extra swap DQ went out yesterday, but your beautiful bee block had an accident with a mud puddle. Am redoing it, will try to have it out by Monday.

I have found this to be true of many patterns. They say 12" and you figure they are 12.5 with seam allowance. Wrong! They should be more specific. Very frustrating, especially when the block is a little harder.

Someone wisely suggested cutting the outside blocks bigger & then trimming them down. This doesn't work for all, but i used the idea when I made log cabins.

OMG Andrea, that is beautiful! And lots of gorgeous purple -- she must have been over the wall with her favorite color! (Do you need another sister to make one for? I like it better than mine.)
OK, Katie Ann, you asked - here it is -- the first big quilt I made. It's about 88" square. I was just making wall hangings and charity kids' quilts before. Now I am afraid of NOTHING!!!

every seam is covered with decorative stitches in different colors. Did them about 25 at a time - changed the color, did one seam on every block, changed the color and did another seam on every block. Took forever and I do't think it shows up that well. Wish I had a machine with a 9mm wide stitch.

one of these days, when I have nothing to do, I will make more blocks and redo the shams on point like the quilt.
