MONTHLY QUILTING BEE BLOCK SWAP - Version II
#3792
Thats it for two blocks ? [quote=dotcomdtcm]I use a small manila envelope & pay $1.05. The legal envelopes may not go through the postage machine. I lost a block once and received only an empty envelope![/quote

Usually takes at least a couple stamps or more, but if lumpy and more than 1/4" thick they will stick you for a package and will be more like $1.22. But you know, it also depends on the clerk -- sometimes two blocks can cost $1.05, sometimes $1.32. Can depend on the simplicity or complexity of the block, too -- the more seams, it gets a bit heavier. Some of it depends on how you fold -- now I am careful to keep the big lumps to a minimum. Sometimes the clerk will force it through the 1/4" slot, sometimes will charge extra if it hangs up the least little bit!!!

Glad you liked it, Linda. A friend gave me a package of Thangles and this is a pattern that came with the strips of paper Thangles. I know, I could make them without the paper but this makes it so easy :-P
Have a great day!
