I didn't sign up this month, have been following along.
Love seeing all the mug rugs being posted.

YES it snowed here in Colorado also. We had 5" at my
home, and at my father in laws house further south about
30 miles they got about 6+ inches.

Now for an update on Ya-ya's lil man. He is 4 weeks old
today. He came to have lunch at work with me today.

I know everyone has heard the phrase: Christmas in July

Well let me tell you something . . . Ms Dee7683 has sent me "Christmas in July" . . . a box full of such treasures . . . not only a beautiful mug rug, but 2 selections of really, really pretty fabric (that I just might share in another mug rug swap - or, I might not ), flower seeds, a set of dental pick, scaler & mirror along with a helpful hint of using the picks as stilettos - I also might add that these are great for helping clean our sewing machine, too; there's a really cute mason jar lid & straw converter; buttons, tape measure, needle threader, finger nail file; rotary cutter tote case; petite size embroidery scissors; 2 pin cushions; 2 types of snacks - I think I've listed everything and didn't mean to miss something.

As we exchanged messages, Dee shared with me her love of Monarch butterflies - how she actually helps raise them. Dee also shared a chrysalis (the cocoon where the butterflies develops into the butterfly - so I'm going to "hatch" my first beautiful butterfly!!! Dee also included milkweed seed and an African hosta - the milkweed will eventually feed the butterflies. Thanks Dee for sharing one of your many, many talents AND thanks for the Christmas gifts!!!

Oh, oh, oh I forgot to say . . . ran out of space . . . Dee, your package is in the mail - mailed it today. I checked the tracking number and it's already at the sorting station (wherever that is) and should arrive on Thursday. Sure hope you like the mug rug and goodies

Quilty-Louise - you sure are a proud grandmother (and rightly so!) - he is growing too fast, but so precious.

That baby is really growing fast, Louise! What a darling boy.

Love the gardeny mug rugs, everybody! Such pretty stuff and great packages being shown.

Ctyankee, glad you like what I sent. Can't wait to see what you made for me! Hurry up Thursday....

KLTQuilts, I'm so excited for Thursday to see what you made! There aren't 2 pincushions; one is a collapsable thread catcher...the one that looks like a twisted biscuit
