All my dogs have been rescues. This is my latest and oldest cutie. The Vet thinks he was about 7 or 7-1/2 when I got him in March. He was picked up by the county running loose in Scottsdale, no tags, no microchip. One of the rescue groups that checks the county pounds every day took him home and I found out about him. His name if Mitchell.

Before Mitchell, I rescued a female, lab/greyhound mix, a little more than one year old, found with her 3 pups running loose on the Indian reservation south of Phoenix. Her cute little babies were adopted immediately. She was malnurished, had Valley Fever (and was treated for it the rest of her life), and full of ticks and fleas. I thank Whomever for sending her to me. She lived to be 8 and just laid down one mornng and passed away.

My, my, my. Huntannette is singing in French, and Neesie is writing her own creative lyrics. That's quite an elite group we have in our hole!

I've been out scavenging... er shopping... for my SS and finding some wonderful goodies at sale prices. I'm going to cram that box as full as I can for her. This is sooooo much fun!

Neesie, I picked up some more coconut rum -- and also some just plain rum for those who prefer (though why they would is beyond me). Cheers!

paintmejudy, that second photo of Mitchell is cute as a bug's ear. He looks like one happy, laid-back dude!

Bless your heart! I was beginning to think we'd have to start watering down the rum, but you've rescued us!

sdwill, I hope you can go to the quilt show. It would give you some much-deserved respite from the medical world.
