Someone a ways back commented on the newbies posting now. They read my suggestion and decided they wanted big packages. And don't worry about trying to climb out of the hole, remember I installed an elevator for everyone to enjoy. Hic!

I just picked regular fabric, in colors she said she likes. Probably doesn't matter, though.

Wow, 8 pages in about 6 hours, we are a talkative bunch! Saw a post about the long quarters and I am fine with whatever my SS decides to send! Heck it's fabric, what's not to love! Also I saw that sulabug was asking about what kind of fabric, well in my opinion, I think you should send whatever you find that you think your SS will like. Whether it be holiday or something else!!

wow I missed a day and a half and then I spend 3 hours trying to catch up! I have been thinking about hints I could give to my SS. As I was cutting some fabric earlier for a quilt, I suddenly wished I had someone else choose the color scheme, cut the fabric pieces and provide the pattern to make a quilt top. I guess kind of like a pre-cut quilt kit. Sometimes I don't feel that I have an eye for what goes together! Also, I broke my seam ripper (truth be told I am quite hard on those as I have been through 3 in the last six months.). On to my little ss....I have begun the shopping and have ordered a little of this and that! HA. I am one of those who likes to 'spoil' my ss and I hope she enjoys it all. I can't wait to ship it out and receive mine. I love the whole torture think!

Sorry . . . but I have to agree with Judy. A skinny quarter also loses a lot of the design, if the fabric is a print.
