    Teen,
I get the decision part of not starting. I was stuck for a while but someone gave me a group of fabrics waaaaay out of my comfort zone. That was my spring board to get me going. While it is still not my colorway, I do like what I ended up making. I hope who ever gets it likes bright! Thanks for the offer to post a photo. I'll try to get a pic to send along. Between work and taking care of a long time friend I'm stretched thing at times. I have to say the wall hanging swap has been the high light of my days.

Ready to Mail this to someone: I loved making this WH. The piecing was rather quick, but then I embellished it with hand quilting motifs--- 2 butterflies, one in each upper plain white area at the top, tulips inside hearts along the "grass" and petal like shapes in the tulip heads. Additional hand quilting in the form of stitch in the ditch as well. So I guess I need to revise my previous post--more hand quilting, but more fun then just all stitch in the ditch.

Really sweet, Heather! So cool that you spent so much time hand quilting. Makes it even more special.

I started mine today…OMGoodness….I’m going to have to make me one. This happens every swap. Lol…New technique called Scrappy improv….

Here is my WH. This was so much fun to make. And, of course, it is a color wheel..My favorite projects to work on. The technique is called scrappy improv, which I never knew it was called that but have seen before….just never tried it. I purchased a book of mini’s specific for this technique called, “Scrappy Improv Quilting”, by Kelly Young. This project is on the cover and was an instant buy…lol…color wheel? Yes, please. Lol.. I have started one for me but this one is for one of you’all. My FMQ messed up a couple of times when my tension screwed up but you can’t see unless you really look…I don’t think you’ll mind…at least I hope you don’t mind. Letting Rhonda know I am ready!! Woohoo…

Wow Teen, that is striking! I like it a lot…….I haven’t mastered FMQ in all these years. Love that center quilting.

Some very pretty wall hangings made both by Heather and Teen. I sense a spring feel with both wall hangings. I am also using some brighter fabrics then I originally planned. Spring is here.

Heather and teen, I love both your hangings I'm going to try some hand quilting and other stuff after finishing my UFO challenge. And a colourwheel too if I can...saw a pic of one quilted but it was round.
