R-Sea and Teen, your wall hangings are just beautiful and original. You both are so talented.

I don't know why , but yesterday I answered Teen telling her that the bushfires are in the Eastern States 4000 km away on the other side of Australia . We have had some here but no bad harm done. My message never stayed there.

    Thank you, ladies!

R-Sea.....I figured you were ok based on where you live but I still think of you and your beautiful country. Just hoping you have no family and/or friends in the east impacted. So good to hear all is well on your side of country.

Today, I cut the backing for a quilt wrong..ugh! There is a rule in my house that when I'm cutting...no talking to me. Lol.. I'm blaming my error on my husband, of course. Lol... Thank goodness I have extra to piece it...just didn't want to do that. I put it away to deal with tomorrow. No use compounding the mistake when I'm irritated. Please tell me I'm not the only one who has done this...

    Default wall hanging

This is the little quilt kit that granky sent me with her wall hanging last year . I am hoping the photo will come up . I made it up as a wall hanging and is now hanging with my other swaps

Nice R-sea! How do you like making mini-quilts? Personally, I love them!

I don't mind working with small pieces granky, I did a small dear jane quilt years ago . If you like doing mini quilts what do you do with them?

R-sea...originally the plan was to frame them and hang them around my daughters kitchen (she had the perfect setup for them), but a divorce and sale of the house squashed that, so I just keep a collection. Some day, maybe my young'uns will divide them among themselves...they all love them.....

Bummer!.... and I was being s-o-o-o careful too! Anyway, after doing the quilting, and checking, there is a big black something between the batting and the backing....and it shows! Am I going to rip the thing apart? Absolutely not! I not only hope someone likes black and white, I also hope someone is forgiving of oopsies.......anyway, I hope to post a picture of the finished product in the next day or so...if life doesn't get in the way again......
