I can't believe how time has flown these last couple of months. First off, I'm in, I'm always in these swaps, they are fabulous!

I've been so busy with basements renovations, and then travelling for the holidays, and here we are and it's almost the end of January!

I've still got a couple of wall hangings that I could pick from, just need to wait closer to the date.

R-Sea - glad to hear that you are safe, but so sad about everything that is happening in your beautiful country.

The pics of wall hangings that I am seeing are fabulous!

Unfortunately, too many things have come up and I will be unable to participate in this wall hanging swap. However, I will look forward to participating in future swaps.

    Time really has flown!
I haven’t started sewing yet but have cut pieces out so that’s progress....right?
the Wall hangings I’ve seen so far look great and Teen...your quilting is so nice
You must be practicing a lot.

I seriously debated with myself about posting a picture before the finished product, and 'self' said to wait, but 'myself' said to go ahead because it seems everyone else is too busy to post. Anyway, this is not put together as one piece yet, and Mama birdie hasn't deposited any eggs in the nest (which will probably be replaced), but you can get the idea of my 'black and white'...which I hope someone will like, in spite of all the 'oopsies'....

Granky, that is stunning! I absolutely love it! And since I have a parrot, I think I should get it!

Very cute, granky! I love the non-traditional shape of WH, too. Love it!

Granky, I like your black and white. Can’t wait to see the finished wall hanging.

Thanks ladies...I hope whoever ends up with it feels the same way. This is my second attempt. The first one had a tree on the right with quilted tree bark. I did one block, and it was Ok, but looked unbalanced, so I remade it; however, I didn't realize until later that to make the new one I picked up a white square that wasn't the same size as the other two...so-o-o-o-o....back to the drawing board...and now I will have a wall hanging with one block slightly larger than the other two. Meanwhile, I have tons of buttons, but I don't have four that I'm happy to use on this WH...so to the store I go......

Granky if you have a very tiny crochet hook you can get in the weave of the backing and pull it out. I've done that.
