Nelco, love my "cardtrick" mug rug. The primary colors really make it look like an optical illusion. I've never done that pattern before. Also gives a 3d effect. Thank you. . We are rushing out the door to go to Charlotte for our daughter's wedding. I'll post pictures next week when I get back. Thanks again... love it!

Just look what I received from Nonnie4! Not only a beautiful Mug Rug, but Apple Cider and a recipe for a Bourbon Sweet Potato Pie...yum! Gonna have to try that! Thanks Nonnie4!

Hooray! I am glad you like it. The blanket stitch was done on my little Janome. It's not a fancy machine but it does do a nice blanket stitch. I enjoy applique. It makes me look like a better quilter than I really am :-)

Look what was in our afternoon mailbox!!! It's just adorable Peggy!!! Thank you for such a sweet mug rug and TSA approved travel scissors . Mr. Tom sure will make a fine debut to handle a cup of hot cocoa during our frigid temps we're experiencing in the deep south!
What a cute turkey mug rug! And those travel scissors are going to come in really handy.

Mine is on my way to my partner... hoping nothing slows delivery (no bad weather!) It's coming, Pat!

Granky and I were completely in sync! We mailed on the same day and received on the same day. Her precious mug rug made me chuckle out loud. Perfect for this crazy household. He is adorable. I would love to know if you sewed right sides together and turned? I love the effect as I have trouble with mitered binding sometimes. I love your method. He is already out on my side table and the coasters and fabric. are beautiful as well. Much thanks
