Was I ever excited toda when I had a chance to check my e-mail and got my message w/ my partner's name!! Internet is sketchy at best here - it's made me realize just what an internet junkie I am... Not being able to check my e-mail daily, let alone anything else of interest, is sooo annoying.

I'll not give any hints as I'm terrified of the paddle. Paddle ??!!?? Wow, it's been a loooongg time since I've been threatened with one of those.

Tried to get to a LQS here in sunny FL today, but by the time I got there, they'd closed :( only a couple more days here, so don't know if I'll get the chance to go back or not. I'm hoping so, I love an excuse to shop and getting supplies for this is the perfect reason.

This is the onl thread I've read through, and enjoyed seeing a few furry babes posted. I'm missing my sweet Six - but know that he'll be kneading me with all of his many toes as soon as we are home. He truly is my baby now that DD's are all grown up.

    Take care, friends!

Woohoo got my name today and am off-by myself tomorrow to do a little shopping two hours away at my local LQS.

Now what to get her/him. Are there any 'hims' on this? Hmmm

Let me tell you about them. They like fabric, sewing machines, comfy blankies, their work is alway's beautiful, and they are very nice and helpful to one and all. Does that help?

Gotta go think what to get........

NO! You do not get to open them as soon as you get them.
It is Christmas, and you have to wait! And, since the deadline is December 31, you have to wait until MIDNIGHT to open them ... that would be midnight Pacific time ... and, since I am too old to be up that late, you will have to wait for my posting letting you know that I have opened mine, and THEN!
    You may open yours ...
doesn't that sound like I am a FUN date???? LOL

One of my favorite commanders ... I don't remember her name, but she was high in the Navy ... and she said:
It is sometimes easier to ask forgiveness than to ask for permission ....

Just something to keep in mind when you ask questions 8)

We seem to have traveled among an uncivilized lot of individuals.
Of course, I didn't travel there, I just read about them, and thought they made a lot of sense! <g>
