I know how you feel from the other perspective. I received my beautiful quilt very early, which caught me by surprise. I am on pins and needles because I mailed mine out almost two weeks ago and it has not been received yet. You always want the recipient to really like what has been sent. I am praying that everybody gets theirs soon and are pleased.

Here's my quilt that is is going in the mail tomorrow. I'm a newbie and this is far from perfect, but I had fun with the technique. This was my first try at tube quilting (I used 3-inch-wide strips rather than 2 1/2 inches) and added a border and applique. I love the phrase "silver-white winters that melt into spring" from the song "These are a Few of My Favorite Things." I don't know about anyone else, but by Jan. 15 I'm really fed up with silver-white winter and anxiously await the first crocus, even though it will be 2 months before they show themselves. I love it when I see their bright buds coming up through the snow and icy mud.

Your quilt is magnificent. The pattern is simply wonderful for the theme and I know whoever receives it will be thrilled.
