Anoka, Love your tessellation in yellow. It is fun to look at all the fabrics that are in this sweet quilt.
peace

Nice to have it finnished. It has a fun very modern flare. Did you use one of those little twister rulers to make this? One of my friends just bought one of those rulers and a pattern but she has not gotten to using it yet.

Today I started a list of quilts that are partially made, quilts that have the fabrics bagged together or quilts I want to or have to make. I also worked on a very large UFO. I am at least at the point of sewing the blocks together and making a top. Here is half the quilt. any input on how to quilt it? It will be twice as wide, 10x10 feet Cal King.

Oh look at all the pretties. After I finish a fleece rag quilt for a fundraiser and some crocheted scarves, I am going to make a wallhanging for my livingroom inspired by Marion's. Anoka that is a great WH - I have the Tessellations book but have not tried one. Anna - that king is stunning! I just finished a pinwheel one and will post pics after its washed.

My plan is to play this time. I have a little retreat tomorrow where I hope to complete something. I love this swap, and everything I've seen so far would be perfect in my house!

Yes, I did use one of the twister rulers. I really enjoy the patters for this ruler. I have made the Witches Hat pattern and there is a free tutorial for making a twister heart that can be found here: http://24blocks.com/twisting-pinwhee...-wall-hanging/

My one friend says I am crazy because I sew all my blocks together, cut them all apart and re-sew them together.

Anna, It is a beautiful quilt. I would do maybe a Baptist Fan on this one. Will keep with the feel of the fabrics to me. If not, maybe Michelle Wyman's panto Twirly Swirly Stars. Nice fun panto and looks great all the time. Would do a cream thread. That is my thoughts.

I also already have some ideas for the next swap.

So anyone thinks this one belongs at their house?

I really like the way the colors came together.

The recipient could add something like their last name or a date on the area right under the house if they so desire.

Can't wait to see the other wall hangings. Please post pictures swappers.
Yes it belongs at mine.
