Thank you for the sweet comments everyone.

I am happy you liked Nan62 . I really enjoy making these needle case books and dress forms, they are my go to for gifts, these are fun to make. This fabric, was the last half yard on the bolt, hording it for a while...waiting for the right project. I have some left over Christmas scraps from all my projects these past few months, thinking I'll make me one for Christmas...possibly two....I signed up again for this swap

Happy Thanksgiving all.
I am so blessed and Thankful for family and friends.

Talking about shipping, I dropped over $50 on two swaps that I send out of country for this month alone. How do the rest of you deal with the cost factor? Is there a secret? I love swapping with our out of country friends but the cost is prohibitive especially since I had two out of three swaps I participated in this month out of country.
I too find the international postage a bit much at times. I am sure there is no secret, postage is expensive here internally in Australia as well. I have heard some of my friends say they send money in place of a gift as the postage sometimes costs more than the gift in the package. I agree with that, but it is still nice to receive a gift. Unfortunately if I like to take part in the swaps there is no alternate for me as there seems to be few to no swappers in Australia. I guess it all comes back to "everything costs money", but I do enjoy the swaps.

I love swapping with people out of country and we love swapping with you BettyJ. cost is just causing a bit of a problem especially if I have more then one swap out of country or even one a month a few months in a row.

Still wondering if my partner got her package yet. I should have been delivered this past Monday.

I haven't received my November PC / NC swap yet either. No doubt it is on its way and should arrived soon.
