lilmunchkinbutt, you sent out very nice packages. Both the needle case you made and the pincushion are both great. You added a lot of nice things too. The ones who received those packages from you are very happy.

Everyone is getting really nice swap packages. I love the turkey Pilgrims, the pc's and the nc's and cute farm fabric. I've never seem Christmas bias tape either. I thought the house in the postcard was the Mark Twain house but that one is in Hartford. It was 26 today with a wind chill of 10. Cold again tomorrow and then warming up to the 50's. I'm sure glad that I didn't get any snow. They even had to shovel off their roofs.

Lilmunchkinbutt did a great job on her first swap. A lot of little extras. I too have never seen christmas bias tape. It would really look good on a christmas postcard.
The roads were not very good this morning, but as soon as we got out to the main highway they were good. DH has a different problem than before with his eyes due to diabetes. Diabetes is effecting his eyes and my nerves. I have severe nueropathy.
Every time we go to Bangor, DH thinks he needs to go to Harbor Freight. It has been open for about a year. I can think of better stores to go to.
We receieved a call and it looks like Maine Wildlife and fisheries will ok our new permit for another wharf to be attached to the one that DD and DH just built. Now we need the Army Corp of Engineers and The Maine DEP and the town to approve our application. Hopefully it will go through.

Really nice needle cases! Great ideas for next swap. I am still waiting on my second needle case from my pal. Maybe it will arrive soon.

Pat,this morning I heard Buffalo was going to get up to 60 this Sunday (I think it is.) My goodness the run off is going to cause such flooding. Dewina good luck with the permits and approvals.

It's going to be 61 here on Monday, and rain before that. Can you imagine if after their flooding that it freezes. Dwina have you tried the rotary blades at Harbor Freight? They call them carpet cutter blades. I've also gotten the free steel tape measure to make the snap bags. Good luck with the new wharf and hope you and DH are feeling better. It is 24 today and no wind so it feels like a heatwave.

Pat I haven't tried the rotary blades from harbor freight. I will remember to get an extra tape measure next time we go.
