I think this might be filled with emery sand and is used for keeping your needles sharp

Beautiful buttons. Love the purple fabrics. Is the strawberry a needle sharpener? like is sometimes on the tomato pin cushions you buy?

Finally!! I took the time to read this thread!! It has been a very busy month. My package is on its way, to a place much warmer than here. Closer than the last swap I did, but pretty far away. My SP requested "no candy", so I sent nuts!! Hope that is OK.

Thanks to Madbury for my SP package...Great package and in a beautiful bag with many many Ladybugs on it... There was a box of Dark Chocolate covered Almonds and 3 mini nut bars, a Charm pack that is beautiful, pin cushion needles , I have pictures can't remember everything... Beautiful package just love it...also a redwork ornament that I believe she made, very talented...

    Default Got my Package!

I received my package from Knitette after a long, hard day in the salt mines! As usual, she managed to enclose an enormous amount of good things in an overseas package! She sent a wonderful witty card which my husband also enjoyed.
Where do I start? Christmas panel, lovely fabrics, thread, needles, unique seam ripper, tea, ruler, pen, handmade owl pot holder (with pattern!), bookmark, whiskey flask keyring, Americana buttons (not shown, I already put them with my buttons!), brochures, and Scottish "tatties." Love, love, love everything!

    Thank you again,

    Deborah (Gaijin)
