What a great bunch of swap packages.
Mary I love the witch shoe and the keychain. Did you notice you that you made it with the same fabric as your sister.
Karen great job on the needlecase and the pins.
Teresa that was a cute pincushion, and a great fq and buttons
Rosemary nice flower pincushion and you sure put in a lot of goodies.
I hope I got everyone.
It's only 50 here now and I'm finally going to mail out my packages. Can you believe it's almost Columbus Day? This is the season that I like the best and it's going by too fast.
Everyone have a great day

Do we get a sneak-hint about November's theme? I'm nearly finished with my package (pincushions done - working on a second surprise goodie), but would love to get started on November right away. I know - I know. Patience...

These creations are just splendid. I'm so glad I found this swap on the last day to sign-up for this month. I definitely missed it!

TiltedEars, I'm pretty sure we decided on thanksgiving foods or fall colors for Nov. Karen can tell you for sure though. I don't want to mislead you. Have a good day all.

Mary is right. We decided on Thanksgiving and/or fall colors. Since everyone really likes the fall colors, we decided to carry it over for another month. Thanksgiving can be food like turkey, corn, potatoes, pies or think pilgrims or indians. Let your imaginations run wild!!!

Karen, love that fabric. howcome all these nice things never end up on the shelves in my fabric store???
I just have JA's and some stuff at Walmart. the LQS carry mainly quilting fabrics. I notice one will have all batiks or all tiny prints. they never have stuff like what you got there. absolutely beautiful needlecases andpincushions coming in.

Wal-Mart here has a lot of fabric and some $1. FQ's that are nice. Don't know about using their fabrics for a nice quilt. But I use it for pin cushions, purses, needlebooks etc. According to the P.O. my partner got her needlebook Monday. Hope she is OK. she's really good about posting and showing pictures.

went to a walmart down in Florida when i was there. such beautiful fabrics there. I couldn't believe it.
the one we have here is like the bottom of the barrel stuff. One walmart has better stuff, but not much.
My partner should have had her pkg yesterday. But the girl at my po always tells lies about shipping to me.

The Walmart near me has fabric but it is such a mess there I never even look to see what they have. I just mailed out my swaps today. Mary are they done picking corn where you live. They are still picking here in the one small field that is left. I don't remember last year it being this late.

I took my pincushion to work with me yesterday so I could
find a box that would fit it. All the guys thought it was cute
but asked me what it was...... ummm well DUH it's a pincushion
of course LOL.

I will try to post a photo of the fabric used.

NOW I hate to do this to y'all but can you refresh my memory
on who likes/wants fabric yo-yos?

Or should I go hunt through ALL the post and write the names down?

LOL

I am still at work for another 35 minutes.
