Never done this before but here goes. Hopefully my blocks so far will show. Ive done three sets of each but they are not all sewn down yet, the trees are taking forever.

Don't they. Mine are still on the cutting block to be cut out. Of course, i want to do an eagle for everyone and there are several layers of that one to do along with the nest, tree and baby eagles. Will get on them in a couple more weeks, still doing show quilts.

Steph, they are so darn cute, those bear paws remind me of the prints on my deck last year, those were too close for comfort. winnie ;-)

I only have birds, but they look nice for a woodland adventure!

I like them. There are always birds outside in the wilderness. In fact, when my daughter and I were on a hike for a school project in the preserve, a hummingbird almost landed on me because i was wearing red and it was attracted to it. I like this idea. Good thinking.

I still have not finished my blocks yet. They are all drawn out but I do not have them stitched yet, do I need to drop out of this swap or are you going to give me a little grace? I just have not had time because of quilts for show, then child and homecoming, healing on surgery still, then I have a craft show I have to do in two weeks. Let me know. I can get on the first week of November at latest.

oh Donna, that is a great bear and the fabric is a good choice too. I sure hope I get one of those!

I have now put most of the steam a seam drawings to fabric. I have to go shopping for some gray/brown fabric for my eagle. I surely hope you all like McKenna Ryan designs because these are from her "Spring in the Air" collection. I will have a cabin w/bear, moose, and eagle if I get them all done. Then if I have time, will do a set of pieced blocks with wilderness fabric.

These blocks are going to all play so nice together. I really like the ones you ladies have done already. We are in the woods now.

I'd like to join. Here is one block from my first set and working on the second set. This is fun........Donna

I had hoped to make more sets, but have only completed two - a set of 9" and a set of 12". Hope you like them. Unfortunately, we are leaving on vacation so I don't have time to do any more. Wish I could.

All the blocks are so nice, I'm really looking forward to making a wall hanging with them. :) Donna
