Well ladies/gents, it's time for another Ugly Scrap Challenge, so start digging! Just in case you missed it last year, here are the rules. Feel free to PM me with any questions.

For the Ugly Scrap Challenge, members post a picture of their ugliest fabric. The person receiving the most votes wins all fabrics submitted. Comments are appreciated, whether good, bad, or down right nasty!

Challenge begins Feb 1st and ends midnight Feb 14th, eastern standard time. Voting begins Feb 15th and ends on Feb 22nd.

Please remember to PM me if you want to participate in this challenge.


Rules:

1. Fabric must be cotton and a minimum of a Fat Quarter or 1/4 yard. Fabric entered last year cannot be used this year

2. Only one submission per person

3. Fabric must be washed and ironed

4. Winner is encouraged to post a picture of a completed project using all, or, some of each fabric received

5. All fabrics entered must be sent to winner within 10 days of end of challenge

6. All Quilting Board members are eligible to vote. Only one vote per person

Someone told me there was no such thing as ugly fabric....you just have to cut it smaller!

I read through last years posts a couple of weeks ago. I don't have anything that ugly!

I liked some of that fabric from last year and there was some that just made me shudder...YIKES>..who bought that stuff???

there is NO such thing as an ugly paisley...

I want to participate but I'm worried that I'll win! That would be a horrible fate... lol!

Norbanaquilts would beg to differ. She won last year and her quilt was absolutely gorgeous. I'll try to find the link. You've got to see this!

I dug a piece out and DH said don't you have something uglier. I guess I need to dig deeper.

I will have to dig tomorrow...time for bed...I washed and hung out and then ironed nearly 30 yrds of fabric today...could not resist with the weather we had...I am beat now though

I definitely want to join in...I've seen some UGGGGLEEEE stuff in all my sorting of fabrics during this past month.

I'll go in search of my top 5 choices and then select the worst one for my post.

I think I'll participate this year, but I DON'T want to win, lol!! I'll have to dig thru my stash again. If I'd read this post a couple of hours ago, I could have saved myself some time. I remember everyone's fabric from last year and I didn't think any of them looked UGLY after they were put into the quilt!!

I might be missing it, but why not have a prettiest scrap challenge? seems a bit counter productive to collect so many uglies IMO

I think part of the rules should be the person that won last year can't win again this year. :)

I'm not worried this year, I have a ugly to post, but nothing as ugly as last year. Here's to hoping I don't win!

Actually, I like getting ugly fabric, and cutting it up into a scrappy strip quilt...it turns out so beautiful.

I just sold one and numerous people wanted it.
