I have been in this swap the past couple years and have been waiting to find a scrappy pattern I really like. I will be using mine to make a large Scrappy Irish Chain. I am following the "Scrappy Irish Chain Sew Along" that jclinganrey posted on 5/13/19. Now to find time to sew!

I just found the perfect pattern to make table runners for gifts this year! I have about 3 years worth of candies to use, plus I have a good collection of Christmas candies! I found this on YouTube yesterday: https://youtu.be/REDfom3KUks
I'm going to alter the strips used for the bands and use more of my candies. We'll see how they turn out. Is there such a thing as being "too scrappy"??

I finished the final row on my Scrappy Irish Chain this afternoon. I need to add it to the other rows then photo and post. It is/was unbelievably easy and went very quickly. It used lots of squares no matter what size you made. I have started another quilt from Wedding Dress Blue called "Growing Up Odd". I messed with the pattern to use 2.5 squares rather than the 2.0 squares. Once I get it finished I will post a photo. Below is a photo of the same pattern I made three years ago. A good way to use those 2.5's.
