Prayers for Pittsburgh, my neighbors to the west are suffering. I used to live in the squirrel hill neighborhood where this Attack happened, and now I live about 45 minutes away in the next county. There is no room for hate in America.
Please include these families in your prayers, pray for healing and pray for peace.

Lstew, my feelings also. I was glued to NPR this morning and was almost late for church. I have prayed on and off for those in Pittsburg and for peace and in the Jewish community here in Kalamazoo. Women from my church always do childcare for one of our local synagogues for the High Holy Days so parents can participate easily without their families of little ones. It always made me feel a bit odd that there was an armed officer on duty at the main entry. Now I know just a little better why the congregation feels so vulnerable. Peace and healing to all.

Good afternoon all. Just checking in. Some good news to share. I will have a new grandson (#2) on or around March 14. They will name him Hendrix Dylan.

This little dude must grow up to be a musician. He has no choice with those two names. He needs a good guitar and lots of paper for writing clever lyrics. Congratulations. Grands are just terrific.
