Plan change! I just got 60 pairs sewn. It took no time. I will add the third square to the pairs tonight although not pressing is a challenge. I always press! Staying press-free will be the hardest part! Lol.

CF, if you’ve got squares cut and you chain sew, I’m pretty sure you could do it all in three hours max. I just sewed 60 pairs in under 30 minutes. I had two piles of squares, pulled one from each and sewed. I repeated it until I had 60. Quick and easy.

Crispy_Frog, I think I was teasing you a little bit * feeling repentant now*, it just came out of my fingers before I got them off the keyboard. No offense intended. :-) I don't have any candies cut, so it would take me longer, for sure! Plus, I don't have medium/darks fabrics pulled, so that would add to the time too. I got a little ruler recently, and I'm wondering if I should use it to start cutting my scraps? That would be more time consuming than cutting yardage.

...I'm always starting something and rarely finishing, but I enjoy sewing along with a group on a project.

Mystery Quilters. :
Everyone who is “fretting” about the “no pressing”. Don’t worry it will be part of step 2.

I did it in an just a couple of hours. Not long ago and can easily be done in fits and starts as your time allows. As mystery quilts go, this was a quick step 1.

I finished the step 1 yesterday. I guess I am a slow sewer cause it took much longer than 3 hours. Are we supposed to show a picture of what we accomplish?
I also had a problem with not pressing the seams. It was difficult. Now am waiting for June 1st along with everyone else!

I think progress pictures are great. The more pics, the more fun! Showed this before, but this is my pile of Clue one units. This is about half of them, but I have them all done now. Went even faster because we didn't press.
