Thanks for all the kind words & encouragement as I really don't like to talk about all this to much even with my family, it helps to sort of ignore it a bit and move on to what is really important, LIFE!

You'll have to play with it to find out. Make a copy of your pic and play, checking the file size after your changes until you find the right one. I edit my pix in Paint by right clicking on the unopened file and it gives me the option of resizing. Maybe not all paint programs are the same???

I'll try right clicking and see if the kb resizing option comes up. The Paint version that came with this Office package is not nearly as great as the one that I had with my 2007 package. Perhaps the updated Office is going to give a better Paint.... IN the meantime, I'll keep resizing at 25% until the picture is about 2" high. Smaller than that and I won't be able to see the details, lol.

I use Paint also and usually resize to 25% of the original..
