Great block Janice, I noticed the fussy cutting out of the purple swirls too

Lol, perfect isn't a word I use in connection with my piecing. It's what I aspire to, but don't achieve. I am content with this one though.
Thank you you for your kind comments boomers! I do hope to finish one more tonight and then that'll be it for a few weeks. It's about to get crazy here.

Here's Jaba's block from me. It's a Lover's Knot block from Quilter's Cache. I toyed with the idea of fussy cutting a flower for the inside block but it caused the focus to be on the flower instead of on the fabric. So I kept the center light so the beautiful flower's in Jaba's fabric would stay the focus.

drat... just saw something that needs to be fixed. seam ripper here I come. See how tall that triangle on the right is...? What happened to my 1/4", lol. Sorry, Jaba. It still isn't done. The good news is that this particular pattern didn't use up all of your F8 so you'll be getting some back from me.
