Seasaw cute hat. Poison dart frogs are cute and not green.

That hat full of pansies is too cute, Seasaw. Looks like a garden hat! Great concept and great work making it.

What can be more nostalgic that a bunch of pansies & a sun bonnet! Wonderful block.

Ps to Seasaw, when I see something in a block that the fabric owner has asked us to avoid, I just send them a note & ask what they think. More often than not they will agree to the suggestion. So the next frog that comes to you, ask if it's ok.

Wow! What a great block ..the sunbonnet. You ladies thinking about where to roost in your retirement should consider Oregon..we have mountains,lakes,rivers...weather isn't too bad...the ocean....and,best of all: Fabric Depot( biggest fabric store in the West!)

Francie, I've been to Enterprise/Joseph, Oregon before. Even bought a bit of fabric in Joseph. I was visiting my sister who lives in Clarkston, Wa. It is beautiful in Oregon.

Francis , do you get a lot of sunshine in the winter?

Kassaundra 08-28-2016 09:11 AM

If I ever get a chance to move before during or after retirement it will be to someplace warm, and green, w/ water. I am very cold natured and freeze all the time, even here in OK w/ relatively mild winters compared to some of you it is painfully cold to me. I couldn't stand the brown of the desert. The lagoon where they sing "Happy Talk" in the musical "South Pacific" looks just about perfect.

How about Maui? I lived there for 12 years before I was married. It was heavenly.
