Well, ladies I wasn't going to post another sneak peak at Jayne's block, but after I finished prepping step 2 of the stars it changed the look so much I'm going to show what the stars look like w/o step 2. I am pleased w/ how they look now, but thrilled w/ how they will look after step 2. (spoilers, sweetie!!!!!)

I feel like you are just being mean!!!!!! Just kidding... although I do feel like a little kid waiting for Christmas morning

Cheesehead, I love the block you chose for Hav4boys' fabric. Block turned out great!

The Christmas tree stars are just too cute! You have done it again, Kass.

Cheesehead, love the block. I got blueberries and not sure what to do with it.
Kass, you amaze me. Those tree stars are fabulous!
I got one of my blocks done today. I didn't realize how hard it is to match a pattern and coordinating colors with the fabric. This is for Mollymunchkin and was the easier one. I hope she likes it.

I'm starting to pull your pix for the gallery. 200 kb or smaller please! Names of the owners also.

And here's a gentle reminder that ALL blocks should be 12 1/2 inches square. Please use an acrylic ruler to square them up. Complicated blocks aren't necessary but the correct size is. Thank you!!!

I know she will... it's so pretty! It is a bit of a trick letting the fabric tell you what block it wants to be and finding the right fabric to go with it. I hope you find it fun... Lovely block!

Karen, love how feminine and soft this block looks! The fabric is so pretty and using the additional pink fabric makes the periwinkle colored flowers pop.

We both are new boomers and I don't know about you but I am having a blast! Going through fabrics, and going through quilt block patterns are so exciting. Now I see why the boomer group says this swap is so addicting.
