Here's my first block for Autumn... From the first time I saw Joan's fabric, it was saying, "Shoes! make me shoes!" So here they are!

Love the castor photography. Is that a plant that only opens it's leaves at night?

No it is open all the time. It is poisonous though. The datura pics I posted last week flowers open only at night, but the leaves are out all the time.

finished my boom 18 quilt last night, now time to start boom 19 blocks.

Sew that is awesome!! I LOL when I saw your remark about handbag!! I have NO idea what Im going to do with the blocks but I do know now that it wont be for a boy!! You all are so funny...I always wait in excited anticipation for the blocks and you all never let me down!! Was over 100 yesterday in Missouri...worse today so a good day to stay in and sew! Kass, what kind of camera do you have? It takes excellent pictures!

i believe there is a panel with a shoes theme that matches this fabric. I only know that because I bought it & made a lap quilt for someone. Great Block! Now, Joan, all you need is a little black dress! :thumbup:
