I didn't get a photo of my fabrics before sending as I am using up some of my stash again, I am sending 4 different batik prints and asking that everyone use black with them.
"Mailed" them today, should be in Janice's hands on the 10th.

From the USPS website, you can order prepaid, forever, priority mail, padded envelopes.

I can take a pic of them for you. I'll be on the lookout for them. :)

Yes, I’m sure she did. She brought four more today. And she’s a regular gem, that lady. :). By the way, I believe we’re up to nine sets of F8s received for our group and more are in transit. Guess I better make my final decision on which fabrics to send. Heavens, I cannot be the last one.

I liked the thought of brown when it was talked about a while ago, so I decided to send brown fabric. I'd like the finished project to look scrappy, so I've chosen all different fabrics, so each person in the group has something different. I'm also sending a bit of color fabric with each. The brown will maybe seem like a dark neutral, or a blender, and you are welcome to add any print with any colors you want to use! I plan to mail tomorrow. Here is a picture of the browns. The camera flash sorta washed out the picture, the browns are really richer in person--

Joanelizbay, with your fabric, you want to go with the blue in the text. The text has shades of blue. Should I go with only the darkest blue or may I use a couple of are blues that found in the text?

I thought I asked for the darker blue or close to it in the sentence "the lord is my shepherd" but I had to hand write a couple of notes since I ran out of typed ones. Any blue you think will match will be fine. Ill have to use the text blocks to fill in around the Carpenter square fabric I sent so trying to match the blues if possible, or close to it. Thanks for asking

Some really pretty fabrics to work with. I will be real good this time. Once I am done with your fabric, if I have not used it all up, will cut it into useable squares and hst so it will go in a drawer instead of a large pile of scraps to be cut up. LOL

joanelizbay, You hand wrote only a couple? :-) My printer was out of ink, so I reverted to my hand. On the 15th note there was not a part of my hand that didn't have a cramp. Just think of the hand strength and penmanship of 'ye olde time' scribe-- what a gift they had!
QM, this is my thought exactly! When Janice said we could keep the leftover scraps rather than return them with the owner's block, I immediately thought that I would make HSTs with the scraps. :-)
I was thinking that fabric looked like marbles underwater and I was looking through squinted eyes because of the sun shining on them. But a Monet painting is a good description too!

I'm sewbizgirl... never been in show business, but I've been in the sewing business most of my adult life! :D

Janice, I just emailed you my tracking number. When my package arrives, it will be well packaged. I had it sealed in the plastic bag that we get our mail order medicine in because I did not have any of the padded envelopes. It would have been about $9.00 to mail it, so I asked the mail clerk if they had any of the padded flat-rate envelopes and surprise, surprise, he had one. So I just slipped my package into the padded envelope and off it went.

Givio, latest tracking shows it’s now where it should be and is not being returned. Go figure. :)

Reminder! I require good communication. Right now I've multiple packages coming in and I've not gotten tracking info on them so I don't know if they are for me or for DH's business. Could easily be either. Please find the time to email me your tracking info. Not knowing and having to track down people and packages is not the best use of my time for this swap. Thanks for assisting by following the rules.

Also, all F8s are due in my hands on the 18th. That's Thursday of next week. As Monday is a legal holiday, anyone shipping as late as Tuesday will probably miss the deadline unless you mail Express. Please ship by tomorrow. Thank you.
