I live in a divided household. We have to buy 2 different brands and styles of peanut butter. I tell you this so you will understand this conversation between Gary and me. He comes home w/ a grocery sack and says:
G - I got you some peanut butter without even being asked.
K - (I look up at his grinning face holding his brand of peanutbutter and say ) you know I won't eat that garbage how did you get ME peanutbutter?
G - It is so you can make me cookies.

Yes I will eat the cookies made w/ his peanut butter. They are grain free low carb (for a cookie)not to be confused w/ low calorie though.

Thanks ladies, dh was just happy it wasn’t a darker purple. As my oldest dgd said some times you just have to do something to bring out our inner “ sassy”.

Well, Ladies...….I usually get my F8s in two days. But.....this time they have decided to take a tropical vacation all by themselves! They arrived in San Juan, PR this morning! I checked and the zip code was correct on the shipping label. I guess the machine reading the label must be dyslexic. It will be interesting to see how long it takes these jokers to come home. LOL (Would've been nice if they had taken me along with them!) LOL

From what I hear it’s too hot in NC right now. I had a pkg order and shipped from Kentucky that spent 5 days in California. I’m with you, it could have at least asked if you wanted to go. :shock:

Well, you're right about the heat in NC! It's so hot out that it just sucks the air out of your lungs. My DD is in Florida right now and she said it's 10 degrees cooler there! Go figure.

I just received my package and counted the bags twice. I have 20 baggies for the Waves swap and 19 baggies for the Dunes swap.

Yes, this is correct. Everyone in this group has a second f8 from one person. We have 19 swappers (remember we originally had 20 swappers until one withdrew) but everyone sent 19 F8s so you could get the full number of blocks we originally planned. Everyone in Dunes has one f8 per swapper not including yourself (18) plus one extra which would have gone to the withdrawal. It may or may not be a duplicate of one from that person. This brings the number of F8s for the group to 19. However, if you confirmed with me a block for Jaba, you have 20 F8s.

With regard to the second f8 you received from one person, act as though they are unrelated. You are to make two separate blocks, not just one using both fabrics for a single block.

Yes, thank you Janice for the clarification. I did note that you had the #39 circled on my envelope and figured that was the amount of blocks that I would be making between both swaps. The reason for my post was to verify to you that I had counted the bags per your request.
