Got my envelope yesterday. Browsed slightly thru them and put them back away. So busy at office with barely time to eat some food and get back to work.
Wow some of you are on a roll already, exciting.

Kassaundra 06-21-2018 11:34 AM

GramE lovely block.

I think I remember that block being friendship ribbon maybe? I've made it for a couple of Booms, but I drew it out too didn't have someone else's pattern so might not be remembering the block name right.

Kassaundra 06-21-2018 11:35 AM

Terri great job on Billi's block, even if it did give you a hard time.

Kassaundra 06-21-2018 11:46 AM

Janice, that turtle block is for H4B.

Just a note: My F8s are now "in transit". No destination, just "in transit". LOL No delivery date now either. LOL Gotta' laugh!

That does look like a Friendship Ribbon! I pinned it on my blocks page on Pinterest. I can make it from a photo. Thanks!

Same thing for my package... tracking update only said "in transit to next destination". Which is where? Might be Timbuctoo. :D I really don't think it's moving because I've only got one update in over 24 hours, which is not normal. I've turned my attention to quilting my sandwiches, instead. Can't help but peek in to see what you early birds are already creating, tho. Loving the blocks!

Cheesehead 06-21-2018 12:59 PM

Kass, GramE and Terri, great blocks!

Congratulations Libster on your Great Grandaughter receiving such a wonderful award!

It started out as Aunt Dinah’s Block, but ended up looking like the friendship one when I got done with it. Artistic license? I just keep turning those triangles until it looks right!

Love the Billi block, Terri. And your Darcy Block inspired me. Looks great!

Janice McC 06-21-2018 01:38 PM

Will fix it. Thanks for the heads up.

Good job Terriamn! I think we all have blocks that don’t cooperate. Great push through. :)

The individual pieces stood out to me and went together like a charm

Looks like it was delivered earlier today. :)

I finished my first block today. Joan I couldn't pass up on your repeats, and your fabric request was a no brainer WOW, so yours was first up for me. Here it is.

Pamela, I am positively salivating at your packet, I didn't realize you were sending a print, stripe and dot all it one, I am going to have to ponder that print for a minute to choose the best areas for fussy cutting.

Kassaundra 06-21-2018 02:06 PM

Oh GramE I was answering the other question about the friendship star block after I commented on yours.

And I had already chosen this block when you had that conversation.

terriamn 06-21-2018 03:20 PM

GramE, love your block and the green really makes the yellow pop.

D.Henson 06-21-2018 03:25 PM

Terri, great block for Billi! Some of those "stinkers" turn out to be the best blocks. It looks very nice.

GramE - Perfect block for Libster!! Love the green you added.

joanelizbay 06-21-2018 03:35 PM

Got my package today but going to last t ball game so wont get to play with them...Cant wait! :)

Darcyshannon 06-21-2018 10:47 PM

Running around like mad. I have company coming tomorrow for a party and I have only been here a few months.

So I checked my mailbox late tonight and found all your fabric. How fun. I guess it will be Christmas in July since there are a few Christmas themed fabrics.

This is so cute!!!! With the nice bright purple, green and orange in fun Halloween prints. Wow! Thank you.

Darcyshannon 06-21-2018 11:03 PM

I agree. I think it is nice to have the subtle color.

Your cut is beautiful, too.

Janice McC 06-22-2018 03:37 AM

Looking good for Libster's and sewbizgirl's packages. They're supposed to be delivered today. :)

terriamn 06-22-2018 03:55 AM

Janice love your pictures of dunes and waves on the weebly site

Janice McC 06-22-2018 04:11 AM

Thanks, Terriamn. They’re just fun space keepers until the first blocks show up. The pages look weird and uneven without something in each page section. :)

Those wayward rascals finally showed up today! We have already had a serious chat about going off and leaving me at home. Humph!

I have 19 bags in my Dunes and 20 in the Waves. I think I'm good to go now, finally.

Janice McC 06-22-2018 10:05 AM

Excellent news! Count is right on. Thanks. I look forward to seeing some of your blocks pop up here soon.

First block done!!!! I used this pattern several times in my first couple of booms, then I lost the directions but took the time to find it today since it is one of my favorites.

Cheesehead, hope you like it.

ok did my first block for hav4boys-I got it off center by about an 1/8th inch. Hope it is okay. Also think this picture is less than 200kb, it seemed to be.

sewbizgirl 06-22-2018 04:25 PM

Cool blocks, MonaG and Stafar! I've never seen either one of them before.

PamelaOry 06-22-2018 04:28 PM

Wow, Mona G love the colors you chose to go with this block, I can see why it's one of your favorite blocks!

Cheesehead 06-22-2018 04:32 PM

Stafar, you block is amazing!

Kassaundra 06-22-2018 04:54 PM

I've had my mirror and cut outs out playing w/ Pamela's fabric. Haven't made any cuts yet, but know what I want to do just not sure if I will be able to
