NK hope your daughter is doing better and that she is more comfortable in her own home. I know exactly what your daughter is going through, our daughter had to give herself the home infusions too after she left the hospital with a serious infection.

I've been going back and looking at all the blocks - there sure are a lot of nice blocks! It's going to be fun to see how we put our own together when we get them back. I'm already excited about how the blocks that have been made are going to work on in the layout plan I have in mind.

Here is another completed - for Libster. I have a long term project that uses a lot of Wow, so I have a couple of fat quarter packs of them. Thought it would be fun to use lots of them for this.

My day has been a doozy! I was ask to house sit this morning for a couple of hours while some work was being done. Only supposed to take two hours. Well, the owners came back home 8 hours later and the workmen were still there, as well as me! At home, I had everything laid out on the counter to make a strawberry cake and a couple of coconut pineapple pies for the Chicken-N-Dumplings tomorrow at church. Well, here it is going on ten o'clock at night and I have the cake cooling, the icing made and two pies in the oven. My rear is dragging. I will sleep tonight!

Loving all the blocks being made. Looking at them is my fix for the day! Well done, Everybody!

Loving all the amazing blocks here, ladies! I haven't had a chance to sew in the last couple of days, but am hoping to fit a few minutes of machine time soon.

Darcy - please let me know if these won't work with what you have planned. I can easily make something else for you. I thought the white for the dog face would show up better against the light grey background. It does in person, and one could accentuate it with quilting . . . but it's not as nice as I wanted.

I got my groceries today instead of waiting for Sunday like usual since we are supposed to get more snow maybe up to 10 inches total including the couple inches we git early this am.
We are very close to hitting the snowiest month on record.

Oh my gosh Mona...Wisconsin is supposed to get another round of snow?! Good grief, it just doesn't want to seem to end. Hope some warmer weather comes along soon so the snow can melt and you can thaw out!

I only got one done today, it is for Cheesehead. This is another Star in the Solstice Stars Series, the tutorial was very easy to follow, she did as a scrappy star which was really cute, I might do a scrappy quilt with this pattern.

Mona we have set the record here in Minnesota for snowiest Feb. The storm last night dropped 6 “ more all around us but thankfully we barely had an inch. Tonight they are saying another 6 to 10”

Thank you Macy Baby for the blocks. I know that pictures don’t always show up as well as actual block. I love dogs and I am sure it super cute. My focus is really just to have nice quilts for older boys. They tend to get lost in thought with all the girly quilts or generic scrappy. Since I don’t know the boys personally, I am enjoying all the different blocks that may reflect their interests and things they enjoy. Thank you for using several different fabrics. I think it will help in bringing the blocks together in a quilt.

BTW, I am on a posy roll. So Macybaby, this is yours. I am making other block designs but I really like this one.

I am hoping it will post a bit bigger. Again, for Libster. I keep seeing a Mad Scientist lab spill (beakers on a counter broke) in this mottled green, purple, black and whie print fabric. I know. Totally off base. LOL. It is interesting to see the fabric worked up in blocks. I always love greens.

Not sure for picture size discrepancy, I can retake Libster’s block photo if needed.

SBG congratulations on your granddaughter. great photo. I enjoy hearing about your grandchildren. I don’t have kids and although I love young children, I will not have them as part of my family. My tiny taste was having my friend over with her son and grandkids around Christmas and we decorated cookies.
