That is so cool. I like that he takes an interest in your quilting that way. He's a keeper

I recieved my fabrics, all 19 are there. I will read all the request tonight and start sewing in the morning. I'm so excited to start piecing.

I am loving all the blocks made so far. They are beautiful.

I have some BOOMS from the past that I need to put together. I think I would like to try the QAYG method. I think I understand the concept but I am worried that I will lose the points on the sides of the blocks. Is there any advice you talented ladies can give me. Maybe I haven't found the right tutorial. Thank you in advanced.

Here is an extra block I made for myself. It was a pain in the butt! The pattern was all messed up. The cutting measurements were off and it didn't really give any instructions other than pictures. There are a few mistakes. But, I finally got it done. I love it but I don't think I will make another one like it.

Here a few pictures I took at the quilt show the other day.

This is beautiful. The comments of the quilter said it took her 10 years to complete. I guess we all have hope with our UFOs.

This quilt blew my mind. I'm attaching a close-up. You will see what I mean.

This was a fun one. It was made with bikinis.

This one was really different.

I hope you enjoyed seeing the pictures.

Klaws your block may have been a problem child but it looks good finished.

I love the show quilts, the bird is my favorite.

Thanks for the beautiful pictures Klaws. The one with the close up is especially intriguing; it's hard to even imagine doing such intricate piecing. Ten years to finish the one with the ships is not surprising. I bought the kit ??? years ago and I'm still hesitant to even start it. There are so many teeny-tiny details in it!

What show was this?

I finished a block this morning for Lstew2212.

Orange and green together aren't colors I normally work with so it was a pleasure using them and your pretty fabric. I hope you are pleased.

edited to add: the green isn't showing well. It's very close in color to the one in your fabric and much prettier than it appears.
