Hi everyone-I have just returned from vacation and wanted to give an update--I have received four lovely blocks from moonwork42029, Sustraley, Paintmejudy and a lovely paper-pieced star block but I've lost the envelope so I'm not sure who it is from. I took pictures of the blocks, but I can't figure out how to upload them into this new system. I have finished the block for Delta Dawn and it will go in the mail on Monday. I received a lovely block from Luvs2sew2011 also. I'm really loving the green floral I sent to some of you. [ATTACH=CONFIG]291199[/ATTACH] Okay...just so you don't have to go to the other link if you don't want to...the finished blocks being mailed on 11-28 will be going to NanaKathy55 and CyndiH...that way your surprise won't be ruined for you when you open the mail. |

I am so glad you liked it. I hadn't appliqued in so long and it was a bit of an experiment. The bumblebee is actually an applique patch that I bought at Joannes to cover up a boo-boo. I had decided to add the stem after the pot was already stitched and then the fabric began to tear a bit when I used the hoop, so Mr. Bumblebee to the rescue!

Here is an update:
I have received completed blocks from: Garnet1265 marcialee missgigglewings nancia paintmejudy sustraley I have received F8's from everyone except marcialee. I am getting ready to send out 7 or 8 more finished blocks this week. They are ready to go, just need to get to the post office. I hope everyone had a restful holiday. :) |
I have and did send all my fabric out on 10/1...I can resend you a piece, it must have been lost somewhere
