All good. Mamahauser your block is coming home today. Don't peek if you don't want to know. Today's good, finished block, put binding on Boom 7 quilt...now to the hand sewing, cleaned my carpet in the kitchen _will post pic below, I do have the cleanest floor in town, today anyway. Someone asked to see my stash so took some pics. You can see my 2 little pink baskets for the boom 8 groups, some cottons in there, blenders and batiks, then the fabric I buy by the bolt. Little bins and shelf that is hanging are FQ's, F8's, squares, jelly rolls and extra blocks left over some some project. Tall bookcase is 1 - 4 yd. pieces, the other is wide quilt backs and kids fabric and some future projects that are there with patterns.

Ok jaba, when I come over I am not bringing any of my stuff, we can just use yours, you have more than me. How nice and neat and tidy girl. Love your kitchen. now I can show my DH that I am not that bad on having fabric. he thinks I have to much, well, you win. My UFOs are even getting cleaned up, I just have stacks of finished quilts that I need to get selling instead of just admiring.

Didn't show all that QMomma, batting is in another room and finished quilts. I have 6 waiting to be quilted in my long arm room. Told you I took the whole basement. It has taken me awhile to build up that stash, when I see something I really like I buy it but Don't have to buy hardly anything to go with main fabric cause I shop my own store. And that's good, we can get rid of it and we'll have to go on a restocking shopping trip!!:) Told hubby if something happens he should just advertise for sale quilter's stash and he won't have a hard time getting rid of it.
thanks for the compliments on my kitchen. I really do love it now. Remodeled about 1 1/2 yrs. ago and hubby built all my cupboards, that's what he does is build custom cabinets. These are out of lyptus wood.

Does he travel for remodel jobs? We're just slightly north of you... We redid our bathroom (took it to the studs) by ourselves in about 5 weeks. It was the singularly most trying period of my life (and I'm including basic training, child birth, and 13 deployments in comparison) and I would rather stick a dirty grapefruit spoon into my eye socket than revisit ANY project like that ever again. Unfortunately, the kitchen is up on the chopping block for this upcoming summer (although I'm trying like hell to push it to the summer AFTER I graduate).

Seriously. I obviously can't pay him in quilts or anything "barter-ish" but I do NOT want to play that game ever again. Ever. Again. Ever.
